NEW LED For Hire

Several new LED products have been added to our Hire Department. LED is a technology has evolved in such leaping bounds, products that thrilled us a mere year ago, are dull and boring in comparison. Deserving particular mention are the new TriColour LED Multipars. Each of the 18 lenses contain three 1W LEDs - one each of Red, Blue and Green. This allows for 18W of each colour or 54W of LED combined. This compares to about four times the power of the trusty LED Par64!

For weddings and special events, we have the incredible little moving LED heads, capable of producing a whopping 108W of combined LED power and output. They are low profile and very lightweight so are portable enough to be hired for private celebrations.

Here at Pro Light & Sound, we're known for our love of all things small and powerful. Unlike other productions, for us bigger doesn't mean better, so we search the world over for products for our hire department that produce the most output from a smaller body.

One just such item is the incredible "big" brother of all LED moving heads - the ever powerful 108 x 3W fixture is best used for a stage wash or for large events and venues. It has a nice narrow beam that shows fantastically through haze. A must for any event where lighting and movement are centrestage!

Big Screen for Laminex

"They must have a brilliant accountant" - the ad campaign for Laminex's new product range, rings true for the consumers and the company itself! When launching the prestigious Essastone™ benchtop surface, they chose to do it in style. Rather than going with a large screen and projector to get their message across to their audience of distributors and retailers, they did so an the enormous 105" Plasma screen. The outcome was fantastic - as was the response from the crowd.

Our brief was to add impact to the launch with the use of lighting and AV. Along with the Essastone™ product, the Laminex Group was launching a new range of splashback surfaces. We were asked to add highlight the displays that were set up around the room in the iconic Carousel on Albert Park Lake. We did this with the help of our "runway lights" which give a great punch in output without the industrial look of event lighting. They are discrete, come in 2 or 3-way strips and only 2cm off the ground.

Welcoming guests was the Essastone™ logo as it moved from wall to wall, floor to ceiling in gentle motions - just enough to embed the message long after the guests have gone...

When it came to impact for the AV presentation, you couldn't get brighter or bolder than the 105" Plasma screen. We'd already used the 85" for an Austereo launch with great success and knew there was great value in such vivid colours and images - a perfect partnership for a visual product, like Essastone™.

The client was so impressed, they are now using Pro Light & Sound for all their future product launches.
